South Extension is a neighbourhood of South Delhi, India. Situated on Ring Road, Delhi, just east of All India Institute of Medical Sciences. It is divided into two parts - South Extension I and South Extension II . This is one of the posh market places in Delhi, promising international shopping experience. It is a good place for tourists to see locals going about their daily activities. While the market remains closed on Mondays, it is busiest on Sundays.

South Ex I has several stores and restaurants, including: a huge, 3-storied Benetton store, Tommy Hilfiger, Nike, Mehrasons Jewellery Store, Bengali Sweet Market Centre (a restaurant and sweet shop), Teksons Bookshop (www.teksonsbooks.com), Nalli Saris, Tanishq (exquisite jewelry store), BG's (designer fashion jewelry), Sehgal Bros. (clothing), as well as several other clothing and music stores.
