Dilli Haat Bazar

Dilli Haat is an open-air food plaza cum craft bazaar located in Delhi, run by Delhi Tourism and Transportation Development Corporation(DTTDC). At present Delhi has two such bazaars, one near the All India Institute of Medical Sciences on Sri Aurobindo Marg, opposite INA Market on Sri Aurobindo Marg established in 1994. The second, Dilli Haat is situated in Pitampura, in North Delhi, at Netaji Subash Place was established in April 2008. Dilli Haat has permanent food stalls representing each state of India, giving a complete variety of tastes available all over India, while the crafts stall change every 15 days.[1]

South Extension is a neighbourhood of South Delhi, India. Situated on Ring Road, Delhi, just east of All India Institute of Medical Sciences. It is divided into two parts - South Extension I and South Extension II . This is one of the posh market places in Delhi, promising international shopping experience. It is a good place for tourists to see locals going about their daily activities. While the market remains closed on Mondays, it is busiest on Sundays.
==Description==The market is quite famous for high priced designer stuff and branded clothes. For Delhi's trendy teenagers, this is a great market to visit.
Located on Ring Road, South Extension (known to locals as "SouthEx") is a huge neighborhood in South Delhi and is divided into two parts: South Extension I and South Extension II. South Extension is a good place for tourists to see locals going about their daily activities. As with much of Delhi, it is closed on Mondays. Its busiest day is Sunday. You will also find traditional Indian bhel puri stands and shoeshiners . Shoppers can purchase anything from cell phones to books in this upmarket shopping area, but prices are higher than other places.
South Ex I has several stores and restaurants, including: a huge, 3-storied Benetton store, Tommy HilfigerNike, Mehrasons Jewellery Store, Bengali Sweet Market Centre (a restaurant and sweet shop), Teksons Bookshop (www.teksonsbooks.com), Nalli Saris, Tanishq (exquisite jewelry store), BG's (designer fashion jewelry), Sehgal Bros. (clothing), as well as several other clothing and music stores.
